V28 Activity 2024

The Ludwigslust local association issues a ‘V28 activity diploma’. The purpose of this diploma is to make V28 more present in order to provide many radio enthusiasts and DOK collectors with the DOK V28 for their collection and for applying for various diplomas in MVP and Germany.

Start of the campaign: 1 September 2024.
The greatest activity will take place in September. Otherwise, our operators will be QRV sporadically throughout the year with DK0LWL, which will be announced in the DX cluster and displayed as ‘ON AIR’ on the V28 diploma page. Depending on popularity and demand, we will offer this activity annually for the time being, with September always being the main month of activity.

Diploma conditions:
The ‘V28 Activity Diploma’ is awarded under the club station call sign DK0LWL. The operating modes CW, Phone and Digi Mode are assessed. A total of 4 points are required to achieve the diploma. These points can be earned in mixed mode. Only 1 point is awarded per band per day, regardless of the operating mode. It is also possible to fulfil the diploma requirements within one day if at least 4 QSOs are made on four different bands, regardless of the operating mode.
If you can only reach DK0LWL on one band, you need 4 connections on four different days, regardless of the operating mode. Four different diplomas can be earned.

  1. Mixed Mode
  2. CW
  3. Phone (SSB and FM)
  4. Digimode

The activity diploma is not a competition. The issue of the diploma is numbered consecutively according to the time of receipt. The diploma is free of charge and can be downloaded directly from the diploma server once the required points have been achieved. It is available to all licensed radio amateurs worldwide. The same criteria apply to SWL (Short Wave Listeners).

All logs are summarised in a central database and are then available for collecting the individual diploma. No QSLs of any kind need to be submitted for the diploma application. The organiser is not liable if a QSO is logged incorrectly.
All QSOs will also be uploaded to qrz.com and eQSLs at a later date. dQSLs (digital QSL cards) can be downloaded from the diploma page itself.

After entering your callsign (and clicking OK), your points status will appear and you can download your dQSL (downloadable QSL) for each QSO.
If the points status of a diploma is fulfilled, the download is also possible.
